Get rid of stress

&

embrace a Great, Full Life.

We help people learn to slow down

and let go of guilt.

Finding the balance between supporting others and caring for yourself may feel uncomfortable, but it can be a great step to creating lasting change.

Though your intentions are good, constantly being there for others can be exhausting. Clients feel pretty overwhelmed with life’s expectations when they begin counseling, but quickly learn that stress doesn't have to continue. Consistently being overwhelmed can create difficulties with truly enjoying spending time with family and friends because your mind is somewhere else, issues concentrating or focusing on one task, or frequently feeling tired.

Right now your days are full, you are exhausted, and taking care of yourself always comes last on the to-do list. Even dedicating time to research counseling was probably not a high priority, but we help people find the importance of restructuring the list and putting themselves first!

From the outside looking in, you are driven, responsible, and have it all together…but it rarely feels like enough. Taking on one more work project, even when there aren’t enough hours in the workday, or assisting at another function seems like it will help you achieve “enough-ness”, but it doesn’t time and time again. Instead you feel drained, because saying “yes” to one more thing seems easier than disappointing someone.

Over time, you can discover that you are a human being, not a human doing. There will always be things to accomplish daily, weekly, monthly…but you get to decide what you truly value and how to prioritize your life.

It may feel like you are never getting what YOU want out of life, because of the guilt that comes with wanting something for yourself.

If you are seeking guidance and want to discover your great, full life, reach out today. We would be glad to help.
